Traditional brass music is often seen as old-fashioned, static, and bound by rigid rules. The Plainfeld Traditional Brass Band aims to break down these prejudices and reconnect young people with the genre. To communicate this mission, we were commissioned to create a design that counters the band's dusty image. While doing so, we ensured that tradition and local identity remained central, allowing older generations to continue identifying with the association.
